My great great grandmother Mary Ann McQueen
Storie.
William Storie and Mary Ann
(McQueen) arrived
in Canada from Scotland. They were the parents of David
Storie.(1843-1906).
David was married twice, the second wife Anna Brishenham was Tom's
mother.
William is a half brother.
Thomas married Ruby. They are parents of Cliff.
She and her husband William Storie
were the first,
in our line, to arrive in Canada about 1829-30. William and Mary
settled
in McNab Township, Ontario. Her decendants names besides Storie,
include;
Bradfield, Elliot, McWhirter, Soles, Mukomela & Eckford to name a
few.

This
picture and information comes from Doug
Storie.
"The
first photo is the only photo I've got
of my paternal grandmother Emily (Carr) Storie.
She is standing; in front is my
uncle Bill Storie,
and my father (crying) George Storie.
Now I know the boys in front of
Ruby to be Campbell
and Cliff Storie. Since Grandma passed away in Nov 1925 and the age of
the
children I would guess this photo was taken in spring-summer 1925. Dad
was
about 1 1/2 when Grandma died. Don't know if taken in Osnabrock, ND or
up
in Manitoba."
