Dr. Frenzy Rocks the Pickle Fest!

The Brandon Rock Scene is compact.

Dozens of musicians rub shoulders in this small city and paths cross… and cross.

While I was playing with Kelsey Schoonbaert in Armadillo we started a second project that would allow us to explore some rock n’ roll territory that just wouldn’t fit in Armadillo. Steve Moorehead, a versatile guitarist / bass player and singer had played in Armadillo and he and Kelsey went way back. Kelsey knew everybody and tracked down a young drummer, Ted Crawford, and we set out in a variety of musical directions. Both Kelsey and Steve are great singers. Kelsey and I had already logged a lot of hours doing the twin guitar thing. It was short-lived band, as we all had other things going on, but I really liked what we did.

It was the only band in which I got to play songs like; While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Dear Mr. Fantasy (Big Sugar version), and Sign of the Gypsy Queen.
