The summer of 2003 found us returning to Brandon after a year in Grenfell, and before that, a year in Winnipeg.
Before we had even moved in, I encountered my old friend Joe Stamper at, of all places, a beer store. He was there with another veteran Brandon musician, Ed Verinder, and as soon as I told him of our plans to return to Brandon, Joe said, "Hey you should join our band."

What could I say?

Turns out that Joe and Ed along with another friend and ex-band mate, Dave Laco had joined forces with Randy Vanrobaeys (long story - but he's an uncle to Kelsey Schoobaert and was part of the original Armadillo), and they called themselves 45 R.P.M. The name said it all. Yes it was the same old hits, but played by veterans, and above all, friends.

The website I set up at th time tells all...
